Carpet cleaning in Vaughan, big floors and a short hose run
Open-plan ground floors with hardwood, broadloom upstairs, and basement playrooms that take the worst of it. The van parks on your drive, so the setup is short and the suction stays at the wand.

Working here
The van parks on the drive
Almost every house we clean in Vaughan has a two or three car garage and a drive wide enough for the van. That is not a trivial detail. With the machine parked close to the door there is less line for pressure to disappear into, no service lift to book and nobody to clear it with first, so the working day starts sooner and more of it goes on the carpet. We usually bring the line in through the garage side door so it stays out of the front hall.
Hardwood down, broadloom up
In Woodbridge, Maple and Kleinburg the ground floor is typically hardwood or tile in an open plan, and the carpet begins at the stairs. That makes most Vaughan jobs a specific shape: the flight, the landing and the bedrooms off it. Stairs are quoted separately from the rooms because they are slow work with more edge than surface, and we keep water off the exposed hardwood at the bottom of the flight and on the landing nosing.
Pets and basement playrooms
A finished basement with carpet, a dog and children is the hardest room in a Vaughan house to get properly clean, and it is where pet urine has most often soaked past the backing into the underlay. That is a sub-surface job and it is priced differently from a surface clean. We test for it while we are walking the house, so the figure you get already accounts for it rather than changing halfway through.
A van on the drive changes the job
Most Vaughan houses have a two or three car garage and a drive we can park on. That sounds like a detail and is not. A short hose run keeps suction and heat at the wand, which is where the cleaning actually happens, and the setup is short, with no lift booking and no lobby to negotiate first. We usually run the line in through the garage side door, which keeps it out of the front hall altogether. On a four bedroom house in Vellore Village or Maple, that difference shows up in how much of the day is spent cleaning.
The carpet itself is usually upstairs. Ground floors in Woodbridge and Kleinburg are open plan with hardwood or tile, and the broadloom starts at the stairs: the flight, the landing, and the bedrooms off it. A flight is quoted separately from the bedrooms, because it is slow, fiddly work with more edge than surface, and we keep water off the exposed hardwood at the bottom of the stairs and on the landing nosing.
Basement playrooms and pets are the other half of the work here. A finished basement with a carpet, a dog and children is the hardest room in a Vaughan house to get properly clean, and it is the room where pet urine has most often reached the underlay. That is a sub-surface job, priced differently from a surface clean, and we test for it before quoting rather than after.
What it costs on a bigger house
Rooms are $40 to $60 each at small to medium size. Vaughan bedrooms often are that size, so a per room count works well upstairs. Large open areas and whole floors are better measured, at $0.25 to $0.50 a square foot. A three to five room job runs $200 to $1,000 or more, and the minimum service fee is $100 to $150. Stairs are added to whichever of those applies.
The solutions are eco-friendly and safe around children and pets once the pile is dry, which is the question we get asked most in family houses. Four to six hours is normal drying in a ventilated bedroom, longer in a basement. You get the price before anything starts. Call 647-697-7435.
Do you cover Thornhill
Yes. Thornhill straddles the Vaughan and Markham line and we work both sides of it, along with Concord, Vellore Village and Kleinburg. Give us the address and we will confirm the job and the price before the day.
While the van is here
Rarely the only thing that needs doing.
Asked in Vaughan
Do you need to bring the hose through the house?
Only as far as we have to. With the van on the drive we usually run the line in through the garage side door or the closest exterior door to the stairs, which keeps it off the main floor and out of the front hall. On a large house we will walk the route with you before anything is unrolled.
We have two dogs. Can you get the smell out?
Surface odour from the pile, yes. Urine that has gone through the backing into the underlay is a different job, because the source is below the carpet and no amount of surface cleaning reaches it. We check for that first and tell you which of the two you have before quoting.
Is the carpet safe for the kids once you leave?
The solutions we use are eco-friendly and safe around children and pets once the carpet is dry. A ventilated bedroom is normally four to six hours, and a basement takes longer. If anyone in the house has a sensitivity, tell us when you book and we will say exactly what is going down.
